In our new Green Building Considerations Course with veteran building Adam Bearup, discover what characteristics you should look for when you’re on the hunt for the perfect property and walk through the major components of the planning process.

This two-part course starts off with Searching For and Selecting Land. What makes a piece of land suitable for a building site? What are the differing considerations for rural sites versus urban sites? Adam works through these questions to help you navigate the first steps towards constructing an eco-friendly home.

Part two of the course focuses on Design Process, Financing and Township Considerations. Adam walks participants through these three major components to consider before even beginning construction. Learn how to choose a designer and what to do when you walk a building site as well as the differences between lenders and what permits you'll need.
